Dr. Pamela Howard grew up in the small town of Rockwall in the smallest county in Texas before attending the University of Texas in Austin for her undergraduate studies. She went on to complete her medical school training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. She remained in Houston for her internship and Neurology residency training at the world renowned Texas Medical Center. She completed a fellowship in Neuro-muscular Diseases/EMG and Movement Disorders at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Later, she also completed requirements to become Board Certified in the sub-specialty of Sleep Medicine, in addition to her Board Certification in Neurology.

She enjoys traveling with friends, hiking, yoga and pilates, and dogs.
