Dr. Mitra Haeri grew up in Chevy Chase, MD and went to undergrad at Washington University in St. Louis. She went to University of Maryland School of Medicine, followed by a Masters in Bioethics at the Berman Institute at Johns Hopkins University, and then went on to serve on the Ethics Committee throughout the rest of her training. She completed her internship in internal medicine at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore and her residency in neurology at the University of Maryland Medical Center. She then completed a fellowship in Headache Medicine at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, her subspecialty area of interest.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
