For many years Dr. Brian Avin has been a key player in Baltimore and Annapolis representing Maryland physicians through work at Med-Chi (the Maryland State Medical Society), and through legislative work in Annapolis.

His long service and contributions on physicians’ and patients’  behalf have just been acknowledged statewide with his election to the President-Elect position at Med-Chi. His Presidency will commence September 2012. He has worked hard for this, and his reward will be to work even harder on our behalf for the next several years with these new responsibilities.

We are grateful for his tireless effort and commitment and we wish to publicly congratulate him on attaining this honor.
